Quick layout catchup

Just having a quick catchup of layouts that I haven't shared yet.

Life has been rather busy lately, so I haven't been doing a lot of scrapping, & not much time for blogging either :-( Hopefully I will get a chance to visit everyone's blogs soon!

This one is for the March sketch challenge at Handmade by Suzanne - I loved this sketch! & am pretty happy with my finished LO - Pics are of the Yellow Tchou Tchou train in Noumea.....

This one was another sketch challenge on the Kaisercraft blog - using at least 70% Kaiser product (which I don't have a lot of!)....and I actually won a Kaiser pack for my LO, so was pretty stoked about that :-)
Pic is of the Waterfront restaurant on Pacific Jewel......

This was my sample layout for my CC challenge at Redearth Scrapping.
The theme was inspiring women in our lives - so my challenge was to create a LO on a female who has made some kind of impact on your life, with lots of journaling (mine is hidden under the photo on the JB journal card)...and to also incorporate some other kind of crafting - I have used patchwork & hand stitching....

This was a challenge over at Redearth Scrapping, set by Susanne, to take inspiration from the Holden logo & to stamp using something other than a normal stamp - I have scrapped about DS's old holden that he named the white dragon....LOL. And I have stamped using a plastic corner connector thingo that had a cross type effect.....

And last but not least - this one is using the goodies from my CT pack from Redearth Scrapping.
Using lots of goodies from the Basic Grey "Hello Luscious" range - 6x6 paper pad,  paper ribbon doilies, title stickers....some Echo Park "For the record" alpha stickers  & and a few bits & pieces from my stash......

Thanks for dropping by & thanks for all your wonderful comments :-)

Stuck?!

Have you seen the new 15th March sketch over at Stuck?! sketches?....including the first lot of CT samples?
It is another awesome sketch & more great inspiration from the CT.

Here is the sketch.....

And here is my take on it.....

I used some diecuts etc rather than PP's for the squares under & to the side of the photo.

Again, the same sketch  is used (with permission) for the sketch challenge at Red Earth Scrapping....with the extra criteria of repurposing a non scrappy item on your page.  I have used the Honda tag & the red elastic cut from a tag off a new pair of jeans.

It has been a really busy couple of weeks here, so not alot of scrapping has been done :-(
Hopefully I can find some time soon to get scrapping....because I don't want my mojo to go walkabout again!

Thanks for dropping by & happy scrapping :-)

1st March Stuck?!

I really really LOVED this sketch as soon as I seen it!
And it is such an easy sketch to work with....it all came together rather quickly (for me, who is normally a fairly slow scrapper...lol)

So anyways....here is the sketch

And here is my layout.....

Head on over to the Stuck?! blog and check out the gorgeous work by the rest of the CT team....so many fantastic LO's full of amazing inspiration!

Over at Red Earth Scrapping - we use the Stuck?! sketches as our monthly sketch challenges (used with permission, of course).....with an extra criteria or 2 added to the mix, which is my job as a CT member to come up with the extra criteria.

So, for this sketch challenge, the extra criteria is .....

1. A colour challenge of Green, Black & White.....and just a teeny tiny smidgen of another colour is allowed (but not necessary as part of the criteria) - My teeny bit of added colour is the pink bug on the Lovely Bug Bits n Bobs button.

2.  To use a hand made flower made from a strip of fabric

If you're interested, I'd love to see some of my blog followers give this challenge a go!
You can check out all the details HERE on the Red Earth Scrapping forum :)

You can enter your LO's at both the Stuck?! blog & Red Earth Scrapping - so double the chances of winning some fantastic prizes! :-)))

Thanks for dropping by....and I hope everyone has a fantastic weekend!
