Kaisercraft DT - 2 Cool 4 School

Good morning everyone....and welcome!

Today I'm back to share my DT work for the last release for this month,
2 Cool 4 School
I am a little late on posting this one....a long weekend away has put me behind the 8 ball, so to speak!

As the name suggests, it is a school themed collection....perfect for scrapping all those yearly official school photos...or any other school photos you may have.

I have stuck with the school theme, scrapping a photo of my daughter's 'official' Prefect photo..

"School Prefect"

There's lots of red, blue, green, yellow, black & white in this collection....so I'm sure there wouldn't be a school in Australia whose colours would not suit!  I have added some splashes of co-ordinating mists onto the outer white bits of the background piece, Mathematics,
which I also turned on it's side

No flowers on this one! lol  Just pieces from the collectables pack...stickers etc etc.

I also added a few coloured metal paper clips....keeping in with the school theme :)

The 2 Cool 4 School stamp set has heaps of cool stamps...lots of stayings, a pencil, ruler etc
I have used the 'class of' stamp & then used the individual numbers to make up the year...2001.

Next I've created a cute little pencil tin....

Using a used, but washed, tin that I would have otherwise chucked out...I first coated it in gesso...both inside & out.  Then simply covered with paper & decorated with stickers, paper strips, Collectables pieces etc...and finished it off with a couple of die-cut doilies & some cute little mini pencils that had, tied together with some twine.

Here's a couple of close ups...

And of the back area of the tin....the strip of pencils is from the sticker sheet.

The 2 Cool 4 School  collection is available at All About Scrapbooks HERE

Thanks so much for dropping by today! xx

Prima "Epiphany" for All About Scrapbooks / Prima January BAP

Hello there again :)

I am back to share ANOTHER layout using the beautiful Epiphany collection from Prima, for

I have based my layout on the January Prima BAP

"Yesterday's Memories"

I have used the Epiphany "Manifestation of Love" paper for my background & have added some texture using Prima Flourish stencil....& some coloured mists to tie in with the colours of the flowers.

Here is this months BAP

And here's a few close ups....

All Prima flowers....a few are Epiphany, and the others are from my very old stash!
Also quite a few of the Epiphany wood icons, and Ephemera, around the page :)

The black & white twine that is wrapped around the plain brown twine is from the Epiphany Ephemera pack...and here you can see some more of the Epiphany wood icons - the gorgeous key & birdhouse <3

I've used the Prima Stiched Squares stamp on the papers under the photo, and have also added more stamping to them using a variety of Prima background stamps.

Another of the wood icons, as well as a few pieces from the Ephemera pack....and the title is Prima alpha's as well.  I added a bit of gesso to the metal key from the Ephemera pack, just to blend it in with the rest of the page.

The birdcages were cut from the "At this Moment" paper & then coloured with some mists.

The pic is of my mum when she was a little girl of about 2-3 years old.  I am yet to add the rest of my journaling to the back of the page (when I find a spare 1/2 hour!)

Most of the products used here are from Prima....the Epiphany collection papers, flowers, Wood Icons & Ephemera goodies.... the Stitched Square stamps, a variety of other background stamps, all the other flowers, the Flourish stencil & the Alpha letters too :)

For more details on products & techniques used, please visit the All About Scrapbooks blog HERE.
Thanks so much for taking the time to check out my work :)

For all the Aussie's out there....enjoy your Australia Day weekend :D  xx

Kaisercraft DT - XO

The next paper range from Kasiercraft is Valentines Day themed....and is called XO

But of course, me being me....and liking to occasionally scrap outside the square, I've created something non-Valentines!  It has gorgeous pinks, blues, with touches of black & white, so it pretty much would be suited for any type of layout

My layout is on little miss Olivia

"So Sweet"

The pinks & blues of this collection went so well with her cute little knitted jumper...hence the reason why I've scrapped this photo :)

The word "sweet" that forms part of the title is from the Collectables pack...and there are heaps of other Valentine's related words in the pack as well, plus LOTS of other pieces, as always.

I've used some paper blooms, collectables pieces & some 2Crafty chipboard, Funky Heart Swirls, for my cluster....oh, and there's a flair button in there as well.

Here's some more of the Collectables pieces...the heart arrow, love stamp & the 'Love You' circle at the top.

I've also used some of the "Be Mine" 4x6 Captured Moments cards in amongst the paper layers in various spots on the page

The white circles are 2Crafty Circular Panel that I've cut into pieces & placed
at the sides of the photo.

Next up is a couple of cards...

"My One & Only"

Again using some of the Captured Moments cards...collectables pieces & papers & cut-outs from the XO paper pad...along with some gorgeous paper blooms

"Ps.  I love You"

More layers of pieces from the paper pad, Captured Moments cards & collectables pieces, with more blooms, flower & flair button.  The word 'Love" is from the collectables pack & is mounted up on some foam tape.

I traced a heart onto one of the Captured Moments cards & then cut it out, using the negative piece as the top layer on my card

I hope you have enjoyed seeing my creations & have been inspired by this lovely collection.
It is available at All About Scrapbooks HERE

Kaisercraft DT - Blue Bay

 Hi everyone

As always, there are 3 new Kaisercraft releases for this month.....so my post today is to share my DT work using the first of these 3 releases....and it is a super gorgeous collection,
called BLUE BAY

This would have to be one of my new fav's from Kaisercraft....I love the colours, the patterns & all the pieces in the collectables pack, sticker sheet, and all the other bits that come with this collection....it is all just to die for!

"This is Me"
{Oh yes it is....lol}

Me back in approx 1973...and I believe that this is my first ever selfie - who knew it would become THE new phenomenon some 40 odd years later!

This collection comes with quite a few papers that I just loved to cut up to use in my layers around the photo....All the doors that you can see come from the Sky Blue paper....which is covered in all these fabulous looking doors - all different sizes & colours <3  And also one of the specialty papers, having heaps of beautiful frames on it...some with verses inside them, and others just blank.  Well, I cut some of those up too, to add in the layers as well....oh such fun!  Some of the collectables pieces are doors & frames also.

I've used the Lattice template with modelling paste on the background....with some stamping using Rocks, Grid & Tiny Dot stamps

See how Kaisercraft paper blooms ALWAYS match with their paper collections?!
I think that's so cool...and so very clever!  It's not like they produce new flowers to compliment each new paper collection....their paper collections just always go with their existing blooms....way cool!

I absolutely LOVE that ornate clock face that is in the Collectables pack....all that fine detail makes it look so real....and 3D - just magical.

Here you can see some of the frames & doors that I cut out, and a few of the diecut collectables pieces....I also used some of the Sea Breeze Captured Moments cards in my layering as well.

One of the new Clear Butterfly stickers that I've put onto plain white cardstock.

Next I have a mini album....

{I have used a fair bit of non-Kaisercraft flowers & other bits {chipboard & wood veneers}from my stash...using pieces that I felt finished each page off nicely.  With Kaisercraft flowers being quite bulky, it was difficult to use them on the inside pages as the pages would not be able to close properly, so hence the reason I have used other brands of flowers that are a lot flatter}

"Kioloa 2013"

I have had this little album in my stash for.ever....I'm talking years & years - So long ago that I don't remember where I got it!  But I'm glad that I had it, and never used it, because it goes perfectly with the colours of the Blue Bay collection, and you'd think it was made for it.

The cover is just a few layers of paper, with more layers using the Captured Moments cards...then topped off with a few blooms, Collectables pieces & some punched leaves...and Kaisercraft alpha stickers for the title :)

Now for the inside of the album

I stuck to having photos only on one side of each page.... keeping the other side for journaling etc

I have mostly used papers from the Blue Bay paper pad....and on the journaling side of the page, I've used more of the Captured Moments cards

I've used lots of 2Crafty chipboard throughout the album....seeings I have LOTS of it on hand, plus I love using it on my work :)

Mr Oscar having fun in the sand <3

Some quick & easy journaling strips in a few different colours, helps to keep the page from looking so bland if I'd just used one colour.

I've also used other bits n bobs from my stash....this one is a Flutterby Flair, plus pieces from the Blue Bay sticker sheet, collectables pack & paper pad

This is one of the frames from the collectables pack & I've slipped one of the tags
down so that it partially sits inside the frame

And here's more doors cut from the Sky Blue paper

This is one of the 3x4 Sea Beeze Captured Moments cards, placed on top of a paper doily with some journaling around the outside of the card.  Also another of the clear Butterfly stickers, finished off with a pearl on top.

Some more 2Crafty Butterflies, topped off with some KC Rhinestones

One of the plainer Captured Moment's cards that was perfect for adding some journaling.

Don't ever throw away the cut off strips at the bottom of your papers...they always come in handy for so many uses.  Here I've added a strip to separate the 2 different papers on the page {plus it helps to cover up the join!}.

I love this page....I think the pieces from the 2Crafty Circular panel just sets it off perfectly :)

Here is another of the Kaisercraft clear Butterfly stickers....a much bigger one & it is gorgeous!
I have topped it off with one of the Collectables pieces & a mini paper bloom.

I love this photo of our toes in the sand...including Mr Oscar's. lol <3

Here I've cut down one of the 3x4 Captured Moment's cards & then mounted it onto another full sized card, with some strip journaling from one of the pages in the paper pad.

Another of the cut-off strips at the top of the page...as well as some word stickers that I cut up from a longer verse on the sticker sheet.

So there you have the beautiful BLUE BAY collection, which is available at
All About Scrapbooks HERE

I do hope you have been inspired by it :)
Thanks so much for dropping by!  xx
