More Crate Paper - Journey for All About Scrapbooks

Hello again & a big happy weekend to everyone :)

I am back to share another layout for All About Scrapbooks

This time I've used very different colours to the previous pages with this collection...

"Mad Max"

Photos weren't taken in the best light, so the background paper looks a bit darker than what it actually is

Pics are from a few years ago, when we made a trip out to Broken Hill, and then from there a day trip out to Silverton, where some of the Mad Max movies were filmed....and where these cars from the movie now live, outside the Silverton Hotel.

You can see my post over on the AAS blog HERE, where there's  more detail about products etc,
and also some more close ups.

Thanks for taking the time to drop by today...enjoy the rest of your weekend! :)

3rd Crate Paper "Journey" layout for All About Scrapbooks

A big hello to everyone...I hope you're having a great night/day!

I am back to share another layout using
This time with a non travel themed layout....showing that other layouts can be created with this collection besides travel/holiday pics.

"Hello Sunshine"

I couldn't go past the gorgeous pink striped "Route" paper for the background,
perfect for a little girls page

I've also used some of the packaging cardboard ......any guesses which piece???
The gold foil on the embellishments in this collection are just divine!

The frame around the photo is a 2Crafty polaroid frame that I've put on it's side
to suite the orientation of the photo.

There are some fabulous cork bits & pieces in this collection....stickers, plus some of the papers have a cork pattern on them also.

More cork bits...

Pic is of my cute little G Niece, Olivia <3

More details on techniques & products used can be seen over on the AAS blog HERE

Thanks so much for dropping by to see my work...I really do appreciate it :) xx

More Crate Paper Journey for All About Scrapbooks

Hello Hello, and thank you for popping by to visit :)

I had this layout up on the All About Scrapbooks blog last week, created using

I've scrapped some more photos from our trip to Lightning Ridge last month :)

"Fun Memories"

The piece that I've used for the background is a really gorgeous piece!
I love those gold foil chevrons it has...and it's a really strong sturdy paper,
more like a specialty type paper, which I also love!

Here's some close ups.....

The round circular piece is 2Crafty 6" Circle Revolution frame

And the Chevron's Bitsare 2Crafty as well :)

The gorgeous feathers in the flower cluster are from the Cardstock & Vellum Ephemera pack....which is jam packed full with so many fabulous pieces - 63 to be exact!!

You can see more details including a list of products with links to the AAS store over on the
All About Scrapbooks blog HERE

Thanks again for dropping by today :) xx

Crate Paper Journey for All About Scrapbooks

Hello everyone

I am a tad late in posting this one....the week has gotten away on me! (what's new!! lol)

This month I am creating with Crate Paper's "Journey" collection for All About Scrapbooks.
This collection has a mixture of colours, from naturals to pastels & even some brighter reds....and they all work together fantastically!  And the embellishments?  Oh boy...there's just so many different embellishments in this collection - Cardstock & Vellum ephemera - stickers - Cork phrases & arrows - Acetate tags with gold foil <3 - Puffy stickers....and there's even some wood veneer shapes, so plenty to choose from that's for sure!

Ok on with my first share for the month...

"Let the Journey Begin"

I just LOVE the woodgrain paper I've used for the background - It is the reverse side of the
Tribal paper...and I've added a small section of  the reverse side of the
Teepee paper down the left side.

My inspiration for the page came from this one little piece of paper with the ever-so-cute caravan,
cut from the Let's Go paper......

Here's a few more close ups....

You can see my post in FULL over on the AAS blog HERE
which includes all the details on products and techniques used.

Thanks for visiting today & I hope you're having a good one :) xx
Cheers!

Kraft+ July challenge

Well what do you know, it's July already!!
Which means it's the middle of winter here in Australia, and omgosh has it
been so cold the last few days!

The beginning of the month means a new challenge is now live over on the Kraft+ blog.
And it is a FUN one - This months challenge is a mustard explosion!! lol

The criteria is -
1.  Use Kraft as your background
2.  Draw inspiration from the photo below
3.  Use yellow pain on your creation.

Here is my take on this months challenge....

I've used my yellow paint on the background with a triangle template....a bit messy, but fun :)
My inspiration from the photo - The twine, flowers, mesh basket, the hanging tape, the heart & the polka dots (on the cup)

Hmmm...I've just noticed that my kraft looks a bit of a weird colour?
Maybe it's the yellow paint making it look like that?!
I dunno...but anyway, it's definitely Kraft!

Here's a few close ups...

You can see all the details, including the RULES plus some amazing inspiration from the DT HERE
Are you going to play along this month???

Thanks so much for dropping by!  xx
